For 20 years,

Nepal Trust Austria is arranging health camps with different medical emphasis in the most remote regions of western Nepal. Each camp aims to cover full care in at least one medical realm, for instance gynecology, birth support, pediatrics, pulmonology, dermatology or general health care.

The teams running the health camps consists of Nepalese health care personal as well as international and mainly Austrian doctors.

In order to maintain a cost-benefit balance, each health camp is around four weeks long and offers medical treatment for up to 160 patients on a daily basis. In total, around 8000 villagers from Humla, who normally have no access to health care, benefitted over the last years from our medical assistance.
